The Storm Lose a Coin Flip Game to Vegas That Has Unfortunate Consequences!

But I missed it because I was in Pittsburgh

So the Storm lost what might be a very important game last week and I only watched one quarter because I’m on VACATION! The prospect of watching what was almost certainly going to be a heart ruining tight game with the Storm’s chief rivals in a hotel room instead of enjoying all the finest art and culture that the fine city of Pittsburgh had to offer was one I chose to forgo. I was rewarded for this as I drank a actually just fine beer (seriously, bars of Pittsburgh serve something besides IPAs and radlers!) at a delightful dive in East Liberty and saw the final as an alert on my phone. Obviously these recaps are going to be a little less substantial while I’m on this very long road trip but I’ll try to get something up after every game. Consider this my Olympic break except instead it being a disease spreading pointless pean to jingoism who’s damage to its host country will outweigh its benefits greatly (don’t get it twisted though, I will be watching it) it’ll be a fun drive across the country visiting friends and weird places in this wild ass fucked up country.
